VOLUNTEERS
All visitors/volunteers need to stop by the office, sign-in and pick up a visitor's tag. There are NO exceptions.
School volunteers supplement and support activities, which benefit children. Volunteers can help in the school
classroom, library, and on S.B.E.A. projects. We know that the extra measure of time and talent, which volunteers
give to students, improves motivation to learn and enriches the educational environment.
Please sign-in and get a sticker at the office each time you are in our building.
WEATHER
Occasionally school starting times and school bus schedules need adjustment due to weather and road conditions.
The Superintendent makes the decision to open school prior to 6:00a.m. Our effort is to make the decision benefit
the majority of children and families. The district's primary concern is safety of the children.
When the decision to open school is made by the district, parents have the final say about sending their children.
A parent's decision will be honored, dependent upon the situation. Any child kept home during extreme weather has
the opportunity to make up missed schoolwork.
When snow is on the ground or the temperature and/or winds cause extreme chill factors, the following radio stations
carry special instructions:
