This view is taken from 10th Street. The building in the center of the picture is the only
one still standing and is the current Tony's Coffeehouse.. Its location at the corner of 11th and Harris was called
the "busy corner". In the background, you can see the beginning of the Fairhaven Hotel. The streets are
unsurfaced in this picture. Interestingly, the places where the mudholes were in 1889 are the places where the
pavement is cracked, today.
