Silver Beach Hotel
1891-1930

This beautiful building opened in the spring of 1891. It operated as a hotel for the tourists who were visiting the White City Amusement Park. It was closed when the park shut down and then re-opened, in 1893, as "The Panter Improved Remedy Co." to use as a hospital. In 1919, the building became empty. It was used in 1924 as a hotel for miners working at the Blue Canyon Mine. In 1930, this elaborate, historic landmark was torn down.
