The first Silver Beach School was a little cabin surrounded by tree stumps. The second school was used from 1895-1911. The third school was made of brick at the request of the Silver Beach Mother's Club. This was in response to the fire that destroyed the second school. The brick building was dedicated in 1912 and housed 157 students in eight grades. It was torn down in 1990 to make room for a large scale remodel to accomodate the growing Silver Beach community. The current building is a combination of construction in the 1970's and the remodel of 1990 and is used by 600 students.
