This curse is because of his no good, dirty, rotten, pig stealing, great, great, grandfather. Stanley is accused of stealing a famous pair of tennis shoes and has the choice of going to jail or to Camp Green Lake. Camp Green Lake is a place for bad kids and every day they have to dig a hole five feet deep and five feet across. He thinks he is looking for something, but he is not sure. Read this book to find out what happens in this adventure filled book.

"Gentleman Outlaw and Me, Eli", by Mary Downing Hahn-A girl named Eliza is searching for her father while she is staying with her horrible aunt and uncle. She decides to run away and finds a man who is also looking for her father, but he is looking to kill him. This book is exciting and makes you want to keep reading. The author describes each scene very well, in words, not pictures.
