• "My Own Two Feet", by Beverly Cleary--If you like books by Beverly Cleary, you'll love this book. "My Own Two Feet" is an autobiography about how Beverly Cleary started writing. She tells about the college she attended, what she did before she was an author and more fun facts about her life. I enjoyed this book alot because Beverly Cleary is a great writer and the book is filled with interesting information.

• "In the Huddle with John Elway", by Matt Christopher--This book is about John Elway's life and how he gets on the Denver Broncos team. He becomes the quarterback. He helps his team get to four Super Bowls. The team wins the fourth one!

• "Small Steps: The Year I Got Polio", by Peg Kehret - A young girl (the author) gets polio. She has the worst type of polio and her hospital stays are very difficult, but also exciting. She ends up making friends with one girl that has been there for 10 years. It was interesting to learn about this author's life. I have read and enjoyed other books that she has written.

  "Small Steps: The Year I Got Polio", by Peg Kehret-This book is about the author who gets a disease called polio. In some cases of polio, you must live in an iron lung to help you breathe. This book tells about Peg's life with the disease. It was a Young Reader's Choice book. I found it interesting how it told about Peg and teaches you that even if something like this happens to you, you go with the flow and stick to life!
