- "The Catcher Who Shocked the World", by Dan Gutman--This is a book
about a catcher named Rod who gets shocked by lightning. He gets the power to bend metal with his mind. Rod uses
his power to move an opponent's bat up and down so that they will strike out. At his team's last game, he loses
his power, but they still win the game.

- "Haunting at Home Plate", by David Patenaude--In this book, the baseball
team loses their coach and needs a new one. One of the kid's cousins becomes the coach. The players find mysterious
messages from a ghost who is helping the baseball team win games. This is a very good book and we think everyone
should read it!
